Study Abroad in Salzburg: Program Fees
Fees include:
- Tuition (includes a maximum of 17 semester credits, subject to course selection)
- Choice of housing in a University residence hall or an Austrian home
- Orientation and cultural activities such as tours, museum visits, pastry seminars, sleigh rides and visits to ice caves and castles.
- Allowance to subsidize breakfast and lunch or dinner Monday through Friday
- 2-day visit to London
- Subsidized monthly transportation pass for bus and train
- Community volunteer opportunities available
- Day trip to Munich, Germany
- Day trip to Innsbruck
- 3-day visit to Vienna
- 3-day visit to Prague, Czech Republic
- Services of a pre-departure Student Advisory Center and an on-site Resident Director
- Access to computers and e-mail at the University of Salzburg
- Pre-departure handbook
- Phone card on arrival to call the U.S.
- Round trip airfare if that option is selected

| The Program fee without airfare does not include the non-refundable $95 application fee, required insurance/assistance package fee of $475, and a refundable damage deposit of $250. AIFS guarantees that these fees will not increase. The Program fee with airfare does not include the above reference fees/deposit. Additionally, it does not include airline and airport related taxes and fuel surcharges currently estimated to be $400. AIFS guarantees that the airfare and airline/airport-related fees and surcharges will not increase beyond this estimate, even in the event of the assessment of additional fees by these entities. Transfers to and from campus are included for students who have booked their flights with AIFS, but only on the scheduled arrival/departure dates and from the local airport. Those who provide their own transportation may also participate in the 2-day visit to London, but must make their own way to and from the hotel in London and to campus. Those who provide their own transportation but do not participate in the 2-day visit to London are ineligible for a rebate and are responsible for making their own way to campus by scheduled program start dates. |
