Study Abroad in São Paulo: Student Life

Visas

Students must apply for a visa with the Brazilian consulate as soon as they are accepted on the AIFS program. Upon acceptance, AIFS will provide instructions and the necessary official documents about the academic program. However, students must contact the Brazilian consulate directly for the appropriate visa forms.

Activities

The AIFS Resident Director and FAAP International Office staff arrange a variety of weekly activities, including cultural and social events as well as excursions to places of local interest. Trips are offered to the historical center of São Paulo, the Municipal Market, major art museums and participation in the Festa Junina and the Aula de Gastronomia Brasiliera.

Library

With a totally computerized system, the library has a collection of approximately 70,000 registered books, as well as newspapers, videotapes, CDs, floppy disks, slides and access to the Internet.

FAAP Fitness Center

Located on campus, the Fitness Center offers students a wide range of equipment for workouts and fitness training.
