Study Abroad in London: Housing and Meals
Students are primarily housed in double and triple rooms (with some quads) in University residence halls or approved satellite buildings. Single rooms are available on a limited basis for an additional fee of $595 per session. Single room fees must be paid to AIFS before departure. The University operates a non-smoking policy in all its residences. Since housing is usually in buildings not originally designed to be dormitories, rooms and showers in the older buildings are smaller than what Americans may expect.
AIFS always arranges the best accommodation available for students. Changes in housing will be considered only in the event of health and safety issues.
Two meals per day (breakfast and dinner), Monday through Friday, in the student cafeteria are included (credited on smart cards).
