A native of Cannes, Sandrine received her BA from the University of Nice. She spent a year at the University of Wolverhampton, England, and a year at the University of Seville, Spain. She received an MA in Tourism Management at Queen Margaret College in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Sandrine speaks French, English and conversational Italian. She is an expert on the cultural sites and activities of the French Riviera, having been a professional tour guide to American and other international tourists throughout the region. She has many fields of interest, but most of all enjoys traveling to discover new places.

The Resident Director provides academic advice, introduces you to the community and handles communication with the University.

Special features of the AIFS program:

The College International de Cannes is located on the French Riviera, on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, between Italy and Spain. AIFS students study French and take courses in French or English on a small campus in a very cosmopolitan environment. During the International Film Festival in May, AIFS students receive a pass to the Festival with free entrance to screenings. The Festival also provides internships and volunteer work for some students, subject to availability. In both semesters AIFS offers many visits to museums and sites on the Riviera, as well as trips to London, Provence and Paris.
