Study Abroad in Florence: Cultural Travel

3-day visit to London (Included in fee)

Wednesday, May 26 Arrive in London. Transfer to hotel. Rest of the day free.

Thursday, May 27 Half day sightseeing tour with a professional guide who will point out some of London's most famous landmarks including Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament and the Tower of London.

Friday, May 28 Transfer to airport for flight to Rome.

Includes hotel, breakfasts, airport transfers, sightseeing tour and local guide. Lunch and dinner are not included.

Optional excursion to Venice ($325, code #5221)

Friday, June 11 Morning departure by bus. Early evening arrival in Venice. Overnight in Venice.

Saturday, June 12 Morning guided walking tour of Venice, including the Doges' Palace, Bridge of Sighs and St. Mark's Square. Rest of the day free for individual activities. Overnight in Venice.

Sunday, June 13 Morning visit to the Accademia Museum, the churches of Santa Maria dei Frari and San Rocco, as well as other points of interest. Afternoon return by bus to Florence.

Optional 3-day visit to Rome ($595 Code #5231)

Saturday, June 26 Morning departure by bus for Rome. Overnight in Rome.

Sunday, June 27 Sightseeing with a local guide introduces every phase of Rome's history including a visit to St. Peter's, the mother church of the Catholic world. Also included are entrances to the Vatican museums, with the spectacular Sistine Chapel and the magnificent Raphael rooms. Overnight in Rome.

Monday, June 28 Free day in Rome.

Tuesday, June 29 Transfer to airport for flight to U.S.

If students do not sign up for the Rome excursion, they are responsible for their own housing from June 26 onwards and must make their own arrangements for traveling to the airport for the return flight.

For both excursions, the fee includes transportation, accommodations, breakfast, sightseeing and entrances as indicated. Students must enroll and pay for excursions by April 15. Students who apply after the deadline may enroll subject to availability. If a minimum enrollment of 10 is not achieved, the tour may be cancelled. Once paid for in the U.S. optional excursions are non-refundable.
