Monday, June 14 Start of summer school in London. Morning class. “Overall introduction to the course and Survey of Europe Today.” Afternoon visit to a British company or financial institution. Overnight in London.
Tuesday, June 15 Morning class: “Treaties and Agreements and the Basis of the EU and the Monetary Union.” Afternoon visit to a multinational company. Overnight in London.
Wednesday, June 16 Morning class: “The United States and the EU: Friends or rivals?” Afternoon free. Overnight in London.
Thursday, June 17 Morning visit to the House of Commons, seat of British government, and meet a member of Parliament. Afternoon class: “Is there a Euro consumer and what regulates business?” Overnight in London.
Friday, June 18 Morning class: “Managing Multinational Corporations, Issues of Finance and Marketing.” Afternoon free. Overnight in London.
Saturday, June 19 Transfer by Eurostar to Paris. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Paris includes the Eiffel Tower. Overnight in Paris.
Sunday, June 20 Morning class: “What is Europe? Is there a European Culture?” Afternoon visit to the Louvre. Overnight Paris.
Monday, June 21 Morning class. Mid-term exam. Afternoon visit to the American Embassy in Paris. Overnight in Paris.
Tuesday, June 22 Morning visit to the World Bank/IMF European offices or to the OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development). Balance of the day free. Overnight in Paris.
Wednesday, June 23 Free day. Overnight in Paris.
Thursday, June 24 Transfer by train to Brussels. Afternoon guided sightseeing tour of Brussels to see the medieval Grand Place and Mannekin Pis. Overnight in Brussels.

Friday, July 2 Morning class: “European broadening versus deepening and British Euro skepticism.” Afternoon visit. Overnight in Prague.

Sunday, July 4 Travel by bus to Berlin. Overnight in Berlin.
Monday, July 5 Morning class: “The Reunification of Germany and its impact on Europe”. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Berlin with a visit to the Jewish Museum. Overnight in Berlin.
