Bianca is the Director of Academic Affairs at AIFS Abroad, based in London. She is British and has lived in England for most of her life, though she also holds Brazilian nationality as a result of being born in the city of Sao Paulo!
Literature is the love of her life and she began her career with a PhD at the University of London in contemporary literature. Her research into representations of English identity in novels about travel took her to the world of study abroad, landing a post teaching British Studies with Harlaxton, a study centre of the University of Evansville located in Lincolnshire, UK. Later she returned to London where she combined teaching Liberal Arts at King’s College London with her role as the Resident Director of the Cornell Brown Penn UK Centre. Bianca was delighted to join the AIFS Abroad team in July 2021.
