Seville fits the bill for the archetypal Spain of intimate flamenco venues, crowded tapas bars and orange-tree scented squares busy with the throng of cheerful “Sevillanos”. The lively historic center encompasses the Real Alcázar (Royal Palace), Cathedral and Giralda Tower and the Barrio Santa Cruz (historic Jewish Quarter) and embodies the city’s rich cultural heritage as a Moorish capital and a prosperous 16th-century trading port. There is plenty to do, see and explore in Seville.

Teeming with thousands of businesses, NGOs, and agencies both big and small, Spanish Internship participants will find that Seville is a dream city for those looking to strengthen their knowledge in numerous fields like business, marketing, tourism and travel, events, sports, graphic design and fashion among others.

Internships in Seville are full-time, for 8 weeks during the summer or 12 weeks during the fall and spring terms.

Living in the heart of the region of Andalucía, Southern Spain, prepare for your future career by developing foundational professional skills and create memories that will last a lifetime!

Internship Opportunities

AIFS Abroad offers a unique global educational experience for interns on this program, with the following academic options available:

The AIFS Abroad Enrollment Team reviews application materials, which are a combination of relevant work experience, college or university level course work, and an assessment of maturity and readiness for working in a professional setting. After a participant has been accepted, we guarantee an internship placement.

Our team works with applicants 1:1 to gain a better understanding of the skills you will bring to your team, talents you want to grow, and expectations you have of your experience. By working individually with each intern, we can assess academic knowledge, career goals, language proficiency, and overall expectations for your time in Seville, in order to place you in a dynamic work environment.

Once a match is found, all interns will interview by phone or Zoom with your manager before the placement is offered and confirmed. The AIFS Internship Director in Spain and on-site Director in Seville will help you start your internship and support you with on-site check-ins and coaching to make the most of your internship placement.

AIFS in Seville Director

Edu Padial

Hola! My name is Edu and I have been working for AIFS since 2007, when I began coordinating language exchanges for AIFS students in Granada my hometown. From there, I began organizing more activities, weekend trips and even summer programs, which I continue to work on to this day. I studied Tourism and Work Science, an MBA, and then I worked and studied in London which was a great experience.

I love playing sports such as football, going snowboarding, running and so on. Another passion of mine is traveling, so it is a pleasure to work for AIFS, where I get to travel a lot, as well as enjoy all the activities we arrange for students. Each semester is a new experience and I absolutely love hearing about all your adventures!

I look forward to showing you Seville and helping you to adapt and make the most of your experience in Spain.
